With that kind of flight, first class is a given. I’d never, ever spend that much time on a plane in coach. Fuck that noise. Imma need leg room, a blanket and room to stretch.

No sedatives required, though. A couple of glasses of wine on a plane and I’m knocked out for hours. I’d have a couple of drinks then go to sleep.

We would like to do first class internationally at some point. Although at this point I would settle for business class for at least once.

That 14 hour flight to Tokyo this year was in Economy Plus. Neither of us fly enough to get upgrades gratis, and we didn’t really feel like tripling the cost of our tickets.
