I think it’s a pain because Israeli aid is budgeted and presidents only have so much control over that. Plus, it wouldn’t stop Israel immediately; think of how much Ukraine has been continuing without Republican support. What if Netanyahu takes it as a sign that he must move faster and lay waste to more stuff/people?

Definitely not a situation I would want to be in, especially with Hamas continuing to attack Israel.
