I haven’t installed it yet, so it may not be entirely fair, but based on past experience developing web software for Internet Explorer I admit to feeling a sense of dread.

Why is it that when Microsoft releases new software (IE 8), everyone gets a sick feeling in the pit of their stomachs — but when Apple releases new software (3.0 for iPhone) everyone is giddy with excitement?
