Almost certainly, steel heated over 200C will lose it’s temper and jet fuel burns quite a bit hotter than that. The question is basically whether there were other mechanisms at play in the collapse. Just because the combination of a jet fuel fire and exposed steel beams was enough to cause the towers to collapse, doesn’t mean that was the only or even the principal cause.
