Nope, actually I feel more comfortable than even it was the right choice. Most of the economic troubles would still be happening regardless of who is in office. This is all pretty much the inevitable fall out of events that have already happened. McCain claimed that he “didn’t understand economics” and Palin is dumber than a bag of hammers. Despite McCain hollow promise to keep the Bush tax cuts there was no way he was going to keep them. He voted against them twice and never saw a tax hike he didn’t like.
The Republicans have yet to offer a real world alternative to the bailouts (which Bush started) because they don’t have an alternative plan. I’m so disgusted with Republican politics and politicians that I probably won’t be voting for them in the future.
