Many of my friends on the left think Danny Glover not being able to hail a cab is cause for a protest march but I hear crickets on Darfur.

They think the glass ceiling in corporate America is an abomination but on genital mutilation and honor killings? Nothing.

They’re besides themselves over Prop 8 but all I hear is silence regarding the hanging of Iranian gays.

Maybe I’m just hanging out with the wrong lefties.
