I’m trying to stay optimistic about our great country.

I’m trying to ignore the parallels to Lyndon Johnson’s “Great” Schmate Society programs.

I’m trying not to buy into the New, Raw Deal mentality that Big Brother Will Provide, Inshallah.

It’s disturbing how many formerly proud Americans and American institutions are debasing themselves, begging on their knees instead of STANDING like free proud can-do people, localities, states.

Where did our frontier, can-do, up by our own bootstraps, take-down- the-corrupt-machine-politicians spirit go, back to Alaska with Sarah Palin?
