Liz Cheney last night talked about the importance of promoting democracy and women’s rights in the Middle East.

Obama prefers the status quo ANTE Bush/Cheney in the Middle East. This should upset homosexuals around the world, knowing how they fare in the Middle East.

The Cheneys believe freedom is for everyone. Obama doesn’t agree.

To the left, promoting democracy in the ME is a Bush doctrine. They are so vehemently opposed to Bush (the man) that they can’t ever support Bush (policy). Even though the lack of democracy in the ME has huge segments of what the left would traditionally champion - women, homosexuals, artists, etc. - completely oppressed. After all this time, I still can’t get my mind around their complete disconnect.
