It’s gotten bad enough that CNN has noticed and written a story on it.

Not surprisingly, the personalities over at FoxNews are front and center with the dogwhistles.

Finally, it needs to be said that the comments to the CNN story are even worse than normal for them. White nationalists have literally taken over that forum, and there are more than a few comments that I hope the US Secret Service are following up on.

What’s nasty about that tweet is the assumption than an Indian-American does not also represent “American values.” The winner has lived in three states, including two in the Midwest, and her parents are responsible members of society, paying their taxes and such. They are pretty typical Americans.

But some idiots think only Christian white folks can be Americans, I guess.
