Badfinger is one of those bands I am sure was appreciated if you were around for it but it’s one that most people my age don’t know.

They were promoted by, or had connections to, Paul McCartney early on. But success was punctuated by suicide. So the band my friend played for was basically a cover band, even if Joey was one of the last members.
