I don’t think that simply admitting Nirtherness is enough to get banned. Try defending it and it’s a different story.

Myself, I think there was a different reason to withhold it during the campaign. It was not uncommon for the parents religion to be included on such a document. What do you think would have happened to his nomination if it said Muslim? The rumors about that were rampant enough without that kind of circumstantial corroboration.

Withholding it, if it is still in existence, has provided an unexpected bonanza of distraction for some of his most vociferous opponents.
