Oh, he’s nuttier than Mr. Peanut’s pool party (to quote Jonah Goldberg, regarding I don’t remember whom), but he isn’t stupid. Burris seems nuts AND dumb (rhymes with “nuts and gum”, as in “together at last!”).

Keyes is/was courageous to stand up to the pandering quota-demanding Chicago-machine politicians he was supposed to emulate to be successful.

Give the man credit for being his own man and remaining true to his conservative convictions, faith, principles.

Keyes did not sell out to the hustlers.
