The same is not true in most other countries. Immigrants stay in their own little enclaves, and even their children who are born in the host country don’t consider themselves British (or French, or whatever).

Then I have to wonder what in the world they expect when the laws of their adopted lands are violated and they believe there should be special dispensation?
