The whole point is this: do we base our beliefs and actions on facts or on fear?

At the end of the day, using emotion as a driving principle is very human but often leads to serious unintended consequences. Not to mention poor judgement.

Obama and Holder occupy offices of the United States of America. Jones is an employee of the United States of America. If you think they have done (that is, performed) something you consider wrong in the performance of their duties then by all means I expect you to speak up about it.

But, to try and build a case against someone based on fear of some sort of reverse-racism (as Beck does of both Obama and Holder, and as BSM does of Holder)… is empty.

The vast majority of people are judged by their past. I’m not going to hire a former thief because they say they’ve gone straight. It takes a lot more than being hired by the President to erase their recent past.
