I’ll tell you what really sickens me are businesses (usually car dealerships) that use the American flag as a way to draw the eye to them while not keeping the flag in good shape. I’ve actually gone into businesses that fly flags in bad shape to tell them it’s time to get a new one up ASAP.

the flag is a pop icon more than ever…I don’t like it either, but there is little to be done about it that makes any sense
