Except on reading the article one finds that it’s not actually at odds with sharia at all. Been that kind of day here!

Turns out to be another case of silly council officials pandering to what they imagine to be muslim taboos. There certainly has been too much of that in Britain, though still, I suspect, not quite as much as reading the Daily Mail would suggest.

Anything involving the Daily Mail is always suspect.
