Fake storefronts put up for G8 Summit

Deception is an important trait, evolved in many species.

That’s what Detroit did when it had some big conference here. They hung up banners over the windows of the much vacated high-rises to make it look like lights were on.

Detroit breaks my heart. This is the largest city near where I am now and seeing its decline saddens me to no end.

Detroit needs a Mayor Daley (father or son…love them or hate them, they both did great things for Chicago) in a really big way.
