The guys that work the rigs eventually will cycle around to working in Saudi Arabia. (Halliburton, Schlumberger, Brown & Root, Baker Hughes, the majors and the service companies.) It’s common for someone from here to run into a neighbor over there that lives right around the corner form them here — it’s a small world. As someone who lives in the community, I hear the stories: Bibles are removed from luggage, as are Levi jeans. The contempt for the Saudis is strong, therefore the use of the word.
