I don’t think he was using logic. I think it’s his knee-jerk isolationism and “principled” consistency.

Maybe I’m giving Ron Paul too much credit. I can’t help it. I really just can’t bring myself to be furious and angry at him. I don’t think he means ill. I really don’t. I just think he’s so trapped in a framework that he’s willing to sacrifice pragmatism for ideology. And that’s a shame.

Pragmatic Libertarians end up closer to Democrats. Dogmatic Libertarians end up closer to Republicans.
