Well, NASA still has its own NASA Channel. The National Geographic Channel is good. Discovery Channel itself is often decent.

And moreover, so the heck what? Those channels don’t travel over the public airwaves and they are beamed from satellites not owned by the federal government. In short, Government Didn’t Build That!

Way to completely miss the point! Unless “It’s great that formerly educational channels have turned into garbage, I hope PBS does the same if they go private!” is the argument you wish to make.
