Nothing we could have done during the day of the Benghazi attack could have saved those 4 Americans either, short of having a TARDIS. We simply didn’t have forces at the ready to respond that could do so in a location close enough to respond with force sufficient to rescue them, and the earlier Benghazi hearings indicated as much.

The President’s response to the earlier report? Create a rapid reaction force to improve the DoD’s response to these kinds of events so that we could potentially save those lives.

But the TP/GOP would rather exploit those four deaths for political points, fundraising, and hobbling the Administration rather than fix the broken system or actually govern (because that would expose the fact that they’re a bunch of empty suits).
