It really bothers me that not only do a lot of journalists agree with Glenn Greenwald, they downright revere him. They can’t see for the life of them that Glenn Greenwald hates this country and wants to destroy its government.

There’s *headslap*, then *headdesk*. What’s the next level up?

I think the reason the journalists are big on Greenwald right now is because he is in the news. He is the big man right now. Which is rather odd seeing as a journalist isn’t supposed to be the news, just dig for and report the news.

More example of how they really are not journalists. Like Justanotherhuman comments, they are too into themselves. It’s all ego-stoking, back-patting bullshit. Notice there seems to be an age line here too. Old journalists are retiring and being replaced by the new. It seems the new have been trained to go for the big hit and ratings. That wasn’t that important as a fact-based, well-researched big news busting story to the old timers. Of course, that is just my opinion.
