The beginning of the end was when “hard news” went “for profit”. Ratings drives news content now instead of dispassionate reporting. Fox has shrewdly (surely they they don’t believe their BS) staked out the “right” side of the market and the remainder of the market (left side) is being fought over by the MSM and the other cable news programs.

Here is where it’s gets funny…the MSM, CNN, and MSNBC evidently have not realized that this is a center-right country and they are fighting with each other over the smaller pie slice of leftist viewers/readers. There lies bankruptcy.

Freedom of the Press has devolved into incitement and hype for profit. The Founding Fathers should have seen that coming in a capitalist society.
