My hatred for the Lakers is not friendly, it’s somewhat personal and reflective of much more than basketball. I hate the Lakers, the city of LA, its’ people…everything.

Magic Johnson is a good guy … he has done a lot to help the inner city in LA with his business ventures. But as a Celtics fan, I also dislike the Lakers. But since we used to beat the snot out of them in the Finals back in the 1960s, Celtics fans looked at the Lakers as our whipping boys.
