The President elect has been willing to speak out against seating Burris. Burris has legal grounds for his actions, one might think the Messiah would shy away on that basis.

Blago (D-Dead Meat) nominating Burris (D-Tombstone) is an affront to the Machine as it circumvents the Machine and makes it look bad. Hence, Obama (D-Jones) must come out against the nomination.

The rest of the country is just now getting a peak at the freak show that passes for politics in Illinois.
