IPT: Mahdi Bray’s Secret, Checkered Past

US News • Views: 2,139

We’ve had several posts at LGF about Mahdi Bray, the spokesman for the Muslim Brotherhood front group calling itself the Muslim American Society, and his consistent support for jihadist causes. The Investigative Project has been looking into Bray’s past, and discovered that he has an extensive criminal background: Mahdi Bray’s Secret, Checkered Past: An IPT Investigation.

Criminal records seem to enhance jihadists’ stature among their followers: consider Dr. Al Zawahiri who is Al Qaeda’s #2, and did time in Egypt for helping murder Egypt’s President Anwar Sadat.

Or the Blind Sheikh in NY.

Crime and jail seem to be career stepping stones in the Caliphate.

Bray and Ellison’s offices provided conflicting information about the congressman’s trip to Saudi Arabia last year during the hajj, or Muslim pilgrimage. Ellison’s office said MAS Minnesota chapter paid for his travel, after clearing it with the House Ethics Committee, but Bray said Ellison paid his own way because such a gift from MAS “would be a breach of congressional ethics.”

U.S. marshal’s body found in Mexico

(CNN) — The body of a U.S. marshal has been discovered in Juarez, Mexico, according to the U.S. Marshals Service — the latest discovery in a wave of violence that has gripped towns along the U.S.-Mexican border in recent months.

The body of Deputy Marshal Vincent Bustamante — who was the subject of an arrest warrant accusing him of criminal theft of government property — was found in Juarez on Wednesday, said Marshals Service spokesman Jeff Carter.

Chihuahua state police said the body had multiple wounds to the head — apparently consistent with an execution-style shooting, according to Edgar Roman, a reporter with XHIJ television in Juarez.

A federal law enforcement source said Bustamante appeared to have been shot in the back of the head.

Horrifying.

As long as you are killing, stealing from, lying to or beating on someone in the name of Allah, its OK for these Islamic extremists. Moslems I grew up with would never behave this way.

A suspected Jihadi with a criminal background, and an extensive one at that. These revelations will only enhance his credentials for eventual leadership.

18 Randall Gross  Thu, Mar 26, 2009 5:11:26pm
As a result of that political ground work, Bray was among a group of Islamist leaders to meet secretly with an outreach coordinator for Barack Obama’s presidential campaign last September. The Obama campaign acknowledged the meeting, which also included representatives from the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), was a mistake. CAIR is an unindicted co-conspirator in the Hamas-support trial of the Holy Land Foundation (HLF) and the organization’s founders were linked to a Hamas-support network in the U.S. CAIR challenged that designation in September 2007. The trial court never ruled on CAIR’s motion.

Executive Director of the American Freedom Society

Between 20,000-30,000 demonstrators converged on the White House on August 12, 2006 to protest Israel’s bombing campaign in southern Lebanon and Palestine, as well as the current Administration’s unwavering support of Israel’s inhumane and disproportionate use of force in the region.

The demonstration was organized by the A.N.S.W.E.R. (Act Now to Stop War & End Racism) Coalition, the Muslim American Society Freedom Foundation and the National Council of Arab Americans. Speakers at the rally included, former Attorney General Ramsey Clark, Mahdi Bray the Executive Director of the Muslim American Society Freedom Foundation, Dr. Mounzer Sleiman of the National Council of Arab Americans, Dr. Clovis Maksoud the Former ambassador from the Arab League to the U.N, Arab-American Anti Discrimination Committee (ADC) among others.

OT: A preview of the daily 0-gasm tomorrow:

Obama to send 4,000 military trainers to Afghanistan

“The United States plans to deploy thousands of extra troops to train the Afghan security forces, according to a review of U.S. policy in Afghanistan to be unveiled by President Barack Obama on Friday.

The 4,000 trainers would be in addition to the 17,000 soldiers Obama has already ordered sent to Afghanistan, where attacks by Taliban militia have pushed violence to its highest level since U.S.-led forces invaded in 2001, after the September 11 al Qaeda attacks on the United States.”

Gibbs was born in Auburn, Alabama on March 29, 1971.[5] His parents, Robert and Nancy Gibbs, worked in the Auburn University library system and involved their son in politics at an early age[6]. Nancy Gibbs would take Robert, then known as “Bobby,” to local League of Women Voters meetings rather than hire a babysitter, and involved him in voter re-identification work at the county courthouse.[7] Gibbs attended Auburn City Schools and Auburn High School.[5] At Auburn High, Gibbs played saxophone in the Auburn High School Band, goalkeeper on the Tigers’ soccer team, and participated on the school’s debate squad. Gibbs graduated from Auburn High in 1989[8], in the same class as novelist Ace Atkins and mathematician and LEGO artist Eric Harshbarger.

Gibbs then attended North Carolina State University, where he majored in political science. From 1990 through 1992, Gibbs was goalkeeper for the North Carolina State Wolfpack soccer team where his large physical size helped to deflect many shots on goal.[9] Gibbs graduated from North Carolina State cum laude with a degree in political science.[3]

While a student at North Carolina State in 1991, Gibbs became an intern for Congressman Glenn Browder. Gibbs quickly rose through the ranks of Browder’s staff, rising to become the representative’s executive assistant in Washington, D.C. Gibbs returned to Alabama in 1996 to work on Browder’s unsuccessful Senate campaign that year.[7] In 1997, Gibbs was press secretary for Congressman Bob Etheridge of North Carolina and, in 1998, was spokesman for Senator Fritz Hollings’ campaign.[3] Gibbs worked in the campaigns of two other senators and served as communications director for the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee, before taking the position of press secretary of John Kerry’s 2004 presidential campaign.[3]

[edit] U.S. presidential election, 2004
Early in the 2004 presidential campaign, Gibbs was the press secretary of Democratic candidate John Kerry. On November 11, 2003, Gibbs resigned “in reaction to the firing of Jim Jordan, abruptly let go by Kerry Sunday night.” Gibbs was replaced by Stephanie Cutter, a former spokeswoman for Ted Kennedy. After leaving the Kerry campaign, Gibbs became spokesman for a 527 political group formed to stop the 2004 presidential campaign of Howard Dean which launched attack ads against Dean.[10] Gibbs later received criticism in February of 2007 during the Obama Presidential campaign by some Democratic leaning bloggers. [11]

[edit] Advisor to Barack Obama
Gibbs joined Barack Obama’s 2004 campaign staff as an advisor and remained with the senator through the first two years of Obama’s term. Gibbs is credited with guiding Obama through those first years and molding his rise on the national scene. According to the New York Times, Gibbs advised Obama on politics, strategy and messaging, and spent more time with Obama than any other advisor.[1]

But court records show his grandson, then called Wright Bray IV, “devised and intended to devise a scheme and artifice to defraud the United States of America … by means of false and fraudulent pretenses, representations and promises.”

While not guaranteeing his election, this record speaks highly of Bray’s chances in succeeding President Obama…..

Good news: Brazilian prez blames financial crisis on “white people with blue eyes”

President Lula said it was completely unfair that the poorest people in the world were suffering most for the mistakes of wealthy, Western financiers…

President Lula, head of Brazil’s main left-wing party, said that ‘no black man or woman, no indigenous person, no poor person’ had been in any way culpable for the global banking crisis.

‘I’m not acquainted with any black banker,’ he said. ‘The part of humanity that’s responsible should pay for the crisis.’

re: #107 Iron Fist

It is amazing that an honest-to-God Stalinist group can organize anti-American and anti-Semitic rallies and the Government does nothing to stop it. And the fucking cocksuckers still go on national and international TV and howl about how badly they are being oppressed.

And the fucking MSM treats them as if they had the credibility of a Supreme Court Justice. It is truly unreal. Worse, 52% of the American populace bought into this bullshit. The absolute depth of stupidity necessary for that to have happened is staggering.

To function properly, a republic requires that the majority of the voters be relatively well-informed and educated. Neither of these is the case of the voting populace in the United States today. You don’t have to be a rocket scientist to figure out that if the guys on international television talking about how the government is covering up their conspiracy theory aren’t being abducted and shipped of to some Gulag in Khazakstan (RENDITION! TORTURE!), especially after they just went on international television blowing the cover off of that conspiracy, then they are probably exaggerating their claims of being suppressed. Just a little.

But the Democrats have bought it hook, line, and sinker. Or, more appropriately, the Democrats have drank that koolaid down to the bitter dregs.

Or milked it for all it is worth. I can’t believe that the leadership of the Democratic Party really believe what they are shovelling (except for Howard the Dick; he’s as crazy as a man eating rat shit and calling it caviar). They don’t believe it, but if they can use it to claw their way to power then they will put up with any kind of damage that this shit will do to the body politic. After all, you have to break a few eggs to make an omlet.

A single death is a tragedy. Twenty-five million dead is Mission: Accomplished. At least to Bill Ayers. And he’s Barack Obama’s Patron Devil.

Looks like the funerals are tomorrow:

OAKLAND, Calif.—The funeral for the slain Oakland Police officers killed in the lune of duty by a parolee will be held Friday at Oracle Arena.
The Oakland Police department says the services will be open to the public and people are urged to show up early for the 11 a.m. event.

Motorcycle patrolmen Sgt. Mark Dunakin, 40, and Officer John Hege, 41, pulled over 26-year-old Lovelle Mixon on Saturday afternoon. Mixon open fire on the officers and Dunakin was shot dead at the scene. Hege was declared brain-dead over the weekend but is still on life support Monday.

A SWAT team later stormed an apartment where Mixon was hiding. Sgt. Ervin Romans, 43, and Sgt. Daniel Sakai, 35, were gunned down before officers fatally shot Mixon.
