I was reading something bacck of this that indicated that there was some suspicion that Wyatt Earp actually murdered Ike Clanton. It is also interesting to note that both Earp and Doc Holliday were charged with murder for the shootout at the OK Corral. They were acquitted or the charges were dropped (I don’t recall which). That sure puts a different spin on the so-called Wild West. We’re constantly told how allowing people to carry guns will return us to the “Wild West” days. If they’d put Wyatt Earp on trial for a shootout, I doubt that people were just wasting people right and left and nothing was happening to them.
They WERE hauled up on charges, it is known as the Spicer Trial. Ike Clanton filed murder charges and Johnny Behan was one of the main witnesses. Judge Spicer was critical of Virgil Earp’s decision to deputize his brothers, but determined that no laws were broken. There is a great book named “And Die in the West” by Paula Mitchell Marks about the gunfight and the trial.

While most in the United States were celebrating the Fourth of July holiday, a Russian immigrant living in New Jersey was being held on federal charges of stealing secret computer trading codes from a major New York-based financial institution. Authorities did not identify the firm, but sources say that institution is none other than Goldman Sachs.
The charges, if proven, are significant because the codes that the accused, Sergey Aleynikov, tried to steal are the secret sauce to Goldman’s automated stock and commodities trading business. Federal authorities contend the computer codes and related-trading files that Aleynikov uploaded to a German-based website help this major financial institution generate millions of dollars in profits each year.
The platform is one of the things that gives Goldman an advantage over the competition when it comes to the rapid-fire trading of stocks and commodities. Federal authorities say the platform quickly processes rapid developments in the markets and using secret mathematical formulas, allows the firm to make highly-profitable automated trades.

Yeah, looks pretty obvious. “The well-to-do” is used to create a sociological response — i.e. class warfare BS. They won’t use the real term which would be entrepreneurs or businessmen. Zekaya has plans to nationalize a lot of industry not unlike his ideological cousin Hugo Chavez.

The President of Venezuela, Hugo Chávez, said that he would conduct a military intervention in Honduras if his diplomats are harmed and issued the vague threat “we will bring them down”.[22]
The economy has continued to grow slowly, but the distribution of wealth remains very polarized with average wages remaining low. Economic growth in the last few years has averaged 7% per year which has been one of the most successful growths in Latin America, but 50%, approximately 3.7 million, of the population still remains below the poverty line.[24] It is estimated that there are more than 1.2 million people who are unemployed, the rate of unemployment standing at 27.9%.
So, 50% of the people are above the poverty line. I wonder if this is a point of demarcation for Zelaya’s support?

The biggest fuckup in the Bush Administration was when he changed the name of Operation: Infinite Justice to Operation: Enduring Freedom. The mohammedans took from that the cue that the Administration was subject to politically correct pressure from them.
Right after 9-11 the Mohammedan world should have been asking themselves if they wanted us to hate them bad enough…well, they should have been concerned about their own mortality, and what a truly angry America can do about that.
Instead they were pissing and moaning about what we called our retalitory strike. We have/had a poster by the handle of “Orbit Rain”. I think that would have made a very good name for the operation, if we were going to change its name.

Oddly enough the BBC has a profile that should raise some eyebrows:
Mr Zelaya won the hotly contested vote in 2005, beating Porfirio Lobo of the ruling National Party.
But food prices rose and violent crime continued.
Publicly backed by such leftists as Mr Chavez, Bolivian President Evo Morales and former Cuban leader Fidel Castro, Mr Zelaya began to lose the support of his own party.
In May 2007, Mr Zelaya ordered all of the country’s TV and radio stations to carry government propaganda for two hours a day, accusing them of giving his government unfair coverage.
In August 2008, he took Honduras into the Bolivarian Alternative for the Americas (Alba), an organisation set up by Venezuela as an alternative to the stalled US plan for a Free Trade Area of the Americas.

New book out named Heart of a Father about fathers dealing with their children’s Congenital Heart Defects, available from Amazon. I’ve got two essays in it, but my little works are crap compared to some of the stories. Real HAIR-RAISING stuff.
But you come to realize that a lot of those folks wearing medical scrubs are heroes - they just don’t wear a cape or a mask. And the parents who just keep hanging in there when everything seems to come apart at once, they’ve got a special kind of strength.

Chavez’ protege/wannabe Zelaya of Honduras FIRED his vice president—so Zelaya wouldn’t have competition when he tried to unlawfully extend his one term with vote-extending ballots printed by Chavez.
There’s no question who are the unlawful ayatollah like people in this Honduran conflict.

I wondered lonely as a cloud
That floats on high o’er vales and hills,
When all at once I saw a crowd,
A host, of golden daffodils;
Beside the lake, beneath the trees,
Fluttering and dancing in the breeze.
Continuous as the stars that shine
And twinkle on the milky way,
They stretched in the never-ending line
Along the margin of a bay:
Ten thousand saw I at a glance,
Tossing their heads in sprightly dance.
The waves beside them danced ; but they
Out-did the sparkling waves in glee:
A poet could not but be gay,
In such a jocund company:
I gazed-and gazed-but little thought
What wealth the show to me had brought:
For oft, when on my couch I lie
In vacant or in pensive mood,
They flash upon that inward eye
Which is the bliss of solitude;
And then my heart with pleasure fills,
And dances with the daffodils.

Mark Sanford was a John McCain backer going back to 1999’s presidential primary announcement tours.
McCain counted on Sanford’s help to win the 2000 South Carolina primary that ended up being George W. Bush’s come-back after Bush lost New Hampshire in a landslide to McCain.
McCain & Sanford were similar. McCain left his first wife & children, and lived to marry a new “soulmate” Cindy, and run for president.
Perhaps Sanford thought he could pull a McCain, have his cake & eat it too.

Let me familiarize you with a Japanese MAN by the name of Ginzaburo Horiuchi. I assume he is deceased by now, if not, Horiuchi Family, please contact me. “Ginza” was an employee, Quality Control, for Mitsubishi Motors, Mizushima Plant.
We met in 1986 regarding a problem with a 1986 Dodge Conquest, (Mitsubishi Starion) at the time, a “poor(er) man’s Porsche 944.” “Ginza” was a Great Guy, authorized a “tear-down” that showed that the “Factory” Screwed Up in molding a manifold. He allowed us to so advise the customer, pay for the the customer’s “Rent-A-Car” - and issue him a BIG “So Sorry.” The customer was good with that - and apart from maintenance - never heard from the customer again as to negativity.
“Ginza”, as I, also owned Minolta Cameras, and when I asked him about it, considering Mitsubishi owned both NIKON and PENTAX at the time. He explained it to me as follows - same Quality - Lower Price. Where we disagreed was about my SEARS Lenses - Made in Korea. As he put it to me - Korean Lens - NOT as good as Japanese. “Ginza” was correct on this one on an absolute basis. On a Price to Quality analysis - Not So Much. I allowed Ginza to be a Japanese Chauvanist on this one.
I REVERE honest people, and pray for them .
As to Japan - Ginzaburo was “as good as it gets.” I HOPE I can be as good.
That is all.

Okay, some interesting evolution, and some lame evollution.
The interesting evolution: Boy discovers microbe that eats plastic … of course once he found it, he bred it to be more efficient … so he gave evolution a hand-up.
Lame evolution: Peanut Butter, The Atheist’s Nightmare!
Note that they confuse biogenesis with evolution. So this is clearly a strawman.
