OK poetic justice post.
The Koch brothers: Sentenced to watch their billions nationalized and spent to clean up the environment.
Rand Paul: Injected with melanin, his curly hair died darkest black, he is dressed in sportswear and some gold chains, given a gold tooth and given some aqua buddha before being dropped off in the middle of one of his own supporter rallies in KY - particularly the sheet wearing ones.
Newt Gingrich: impotence, so he frankly won't have the option of not controlling his pecker.
O'Keefe, Breitbart and Lila Rose. A national scandal arises that the three of them perform sex orgies in the entrails of pigeons as part of Satanic rites - with video. Who cares if the video was edited?
Sarah Palin: Forced to listen to the comments of educated people watching her speeches and reality shows, then she is sentenced to work at a shelter for abused girls, teen mothers and runaways.
Rupert Murdoch: His billions stripped and used to fund public education.

Panetta, who said during the hearing that he was aware of reports of an impending Mubarak resignation, said the public should not take those remarks as “insight that this in fact going to happen.”

Not everyone who disagrees with Obama's policies is a racist,
Nixon proposed a plan based on a public insurance plan, in 1974. The public option was taken off the table by Obama because it was deemed "too liberal" to push for.
Obamacare is a hedge between the public option and more conservative plans, such as Romneycare. Actually, it's very similar to Romney's state plan.

Yes, I do.
And I do believe it is political. The obsession with socialism, Obamacare, alone is enough to bring out the crazy.
Obama himself said this wasn't about race.
What we are seeing is a very successful political effort at undermining Obama.
Not everyone who disagrees with Obama's policies is a racist,
Who's obsession with socialism? Obama's??? Seriously?

Damn skippy. And she dresses the part. And wears clothes, clearly, because she likes them, not because every other millionaire has this dress.
One of the best parts of the campaign, for me, was checking out what Cindy was wearing at any given event.
I liked the style of things Cindy McCain wore, but found some of the colors to not be so flattering (thinking avocado and gold, 70s style).

I don't get it either. Obama is the most conservative Democrat to serve in quite some time, and he gets tarred as a "socialist". WTF?

Obamacare is basically romneycare federal. It's also just about exactly what the Heritage Foundation was advocating for until Obama advocated for it.

Do you really believe that the public option would have been in the bill if it wasn't for Obama's
conservatism? Let me offer an alternative hypothesis. Obama (and dem leaders in house and senate) knew there were not enough dem votes to get a public option bill to Obama's desk. That was the reason it wasn't in the bill that passed.

Because it is class warfare. That is the thing. You have all of these poor white trash out there who can't stand a black woman is first lady and dresses well - and for the record spends way less than Nancy Reagan or Sarah Palin on such things.
Here she is on the Today show, wearing a dress the Washington Post pegs as $35 off the rack (from H&M)

Yes they do. My face is proof of it. From the age of 4 until 21, they paid all my medical bills related to my cleft palate and cleft lip. Because of their generosity, I have a face that looks pretty normal, that otherwise, might look pretty gruesome.

re: #128 Kid A
If Obama was white, the Teabag Party would not exist.
Or if it did exist, it just would be a bunch of marginal kooks and Luap Nor fanboys, which is how it all started. The GOP certainly wouldn't be embracing the Tea Party or bending over and grabbing their ankles to cater to the wingnuts if McCain had won.
130 | thecommodore Thu, Feb 10, 2011 3:55:51pm |
The GOP bears a lot of responsibility for this because they have done little if anything to quell this and other craziness. And they won't quell this craziness because it's what butters their bread.

Remember also that Nazis were actually leftists, and Obama is a leftist. He's also a fascist because leftism, liberalism, socialism, communism, and fascism are basically the same thing.
I know this. I watch Glenn Beck.
