Those who aren't totally biased one way or another seem to have forgotten that sometimes they need to just call bullshit bullshit.

There are Higher Truths. These include the Truth that Obama is going to ruin America. Facts are irrelevant when it comes to getting America to recognize Higher Truths.

The State of Hawaii could be in on the whole deal. I mean, its not like they're even a real state. They're not even attached.

Those Higher Truths also include a belief that younger voters must be disenfranchised. You know, because they hate capitalism or something:

The stupidity I can at least accept as human, the ignorance I can accept as human, the superstitions I can accept, grudgingly, as human, but all these are human failings.
Constant lying is not a failing; it is a lifestyle choice.

Judge orders ‘Adolf Hitler’ to be kept in child custody
A Superior Court judge in New Jersey has ruled that a pair of self-described Nazi parents will not regain custody of their four children, one of whom they named Adolf Hitler.
The New Jersey Star-Ledger reports that the four children have been in child custody since 2009 when then 3-year-old Adolf Hitler Campbell made headlines that January after a local store refused to decorate a birthday cake with his name.
Yes, it turns out that "Snooki" may not actually be the most offensive name in the Garden State. Sadly, three of the couple's four children are actually named after Nazi figures and terminology.
The children's father, Heath Campbell, protested Superior Court Judge Robert Reed's decision, saying it was based purely on the names of his children rather than the couple's ability to serve as parents.
Raising the kids to idolize Nazis pretty much says everything I need to know about their parenting abilities.

Aren't the name of his children kind of related to his abilities as a parent?

Lie, lather, rinse, repeat.
To Romney, it matters not whether his inflammatory rhetoric and speculation-based accusations have any basis in fact -- all that matters is whether you can sell the claim to the voters.
This is a standard Atwater-Rove tactic -- repeat the lie frequently enough, and eventually enough people assume it must be true or you wouldn't keep repeating it.

Both Jake Tapper and Michael Grunwald wrote that Romney lied when he kidnapped the press and held them hostage at Solyndra. Romney said the Inspector General said the administration steered loans to friends and family.
Where did that come from?
Michael Grunwald at Time tracks it to a Rightwing crackpot who writes crackpot books.
Even Jake Tapper wrote about the lie:
Yesterday in California, Mitt Romney stood in front of the failed Solyndra factory and said “an independent inspector general looked at this investment and concluded that the administration had steered money to friends and family, to campaign contributors.”
In a TV ad focused on Solyndra, the Romney campaign makes a similar claim, saying the “Inspector General said that contracts were steered to friends and family.”
This isn’t true.
The other thing that seems to have been forgotten is that Solyndra applied for that loan guarantee in December 2006.
