White Nationalist Peter Brimelow: Texas Must Secede to Protect ‘White Rights’

The founder of VDARE speaks at a conference of racists, and sounds a lot like Chuck C. Johnson
• Views: 26,821

YouTube

The latest buzzphrase constantly tossed around by white supremacists is “cultural Marxism,” and racist icon Peter Brimelow was tossing it with abandon at the “American Renaissance” conference in Tennessee last month, as he called for Texas to secede from the United States to protect “white rights.” (Via Right Wing Watch.)

Speaking at the white nationalist American Renaissance conference last month in Tennessee, conservative author and onetime CPAC speaker Peter Brimelow argued that instead of promoting unity, Martin Luther King, Jr. Day “has just turned into anti-white indoctrination.” Unless “cultural Marxists” who are behind “political correctness” and “the war on Christmas” are resisted, Brimelow contends, the U.S. will collapse.

“Whites have rights,” demanded Brimelow as he advocated for the secession of Texas from a failing U.S.

Brimelow also complained white nationalists are now victims of persecution by the cultural Marxist “lynch mob,” apparently with no sense of irony whatsoever. According to him, he’s finding it harder and harder to get on radio shows these days (which sane non-racist people consider a good thing).

YouTube

You might think Brimelow is a fringe figure, and he is in a way, but he’s also highly connected to popular conservative pundits like Michelle Malkin, whose columns are published at the hate site founded by Brimelow, VDARE. Another well-known conservative pundit published at VDARE: Ann Coulter.

And by the way, you know who else frequently tosses around the phrase “cultural Marxism?”

Just one more example of Chuck Johnson using the language of white supremacists.

Chuck C. Johnson

So a racist wants states to secede from the union to protect the rights of white people? Not surprised. I’m guessing he’s upset the Confederacy lost, and didn’t get to form their own country and keep their slaves.

Its a good thing that he’s not going to get what he wants. Integration and interracial marriage doesn’t upset most Americans anymore, even in the South. I’m glad that people like Peter Brimelow will die miserable, knowing that they have failed to bring about their all white “utopia”

16 Nyet  May 21, 2015 10:58:47am

WTF, over. Historically, huge numbers of women died in childbirth. A parent, or both parents, could be killed by disease, infection, bad teeth, barbarism or wolves. Though I’ve yet to see any good historical data, I’d guess that the percentage of single parent households is about the same now as it ever was.

18 Dr Lizardo  May 21, 2015 11:00:11am
The 1845 Joint Resolution for Annexing Texas omits the right to secede but affirms Texas’ right to divide itself into five states if it chooses.

Inner Wingnuttia
Outer Wingnuttia
Jesusland
Cruzylvania
Republic of Austin (arguably, the only sane part of the state)

Yeah single parent households have always existed. Wingnuts love to bitch about divorce and shit like that but really I say it’s better to raise a child in a single parent rather than with two parents who can’t bear to be with each other and wingnuts could also help by not opposing same sex adoption but shocker they oppose that too.

Kulturbolschewismus

Christing fuck, I get tired of this kind of attitude. “Your state is run by wingnuts, so we hate you and wish you into the cornfield.”

What’s the right response when wingnuts like Rick Perry or Peter Brimelow try to get states to secede? It’s treason. What’s the right response when liberals try to get states to secede? It’s still treason.

Come on, why do you want to force millions of blacks, Hispanics, gays, and liberals — all of whom are, right now, American citizens — to live under the pure fascist dictatorship that would result from a teabagger-led secession? Why would you want to surrender to the people who fought for the Confederacy? Why would you want to allow the wingnuts to have control over the gravesites of Ann Richards and Molly Ivins?

And will you subject every state that gets taken over by wingnuts in the governor’s office and/or the legislature to this abandonment? Because you won’t just lose the South. You’ll lose Maine, Wisconsin, Michigan, every rural-majority state. That’s a hell of a lot of Americans you’re willing to fuck over just because you’re mad at Louis Fucking Gohmert.

For christ fucking sake, liberals, please remember that we’re supposed to be better people than they are.

We’ve had serious talk of secession and nullification at three points in US history.

1) In the decades leading up to the civil war

2) During the civil rights era of the 20th century

3) Now

In all three cases, the underlying cause is the same —- preservation or restoration of white supremacy.

It really is unforgivable for the GOP to put up with this secession and nullification talk from some of its elected officials and other leaders.

I’ve said it before. I am as white white as white can be, exactly one half Slovak and one half German.

If this Peter Brimelow and Charles C. Johnson see themselves as some kind of an supreme master race…let me out of the race.

I get the feeling the idiots who believe some of this crap must have some kind of deep-seated hatred of themselves so they bullshit themselves as ‘supreme’ because they really know they are not. It is an overcompensation for their own shortcomings as a decent human.

And they know with their shortcomings they can’t compete in the actual world of real people of all colors, so they have to put up some kind of a bullshit front to give them meaning as they know they really are nothing in the real world.

I swear, if you dig deep behind the false front they put up, you’d find they really are people with ugly behaviors and they know they are rotten.

Another example of lipstick on pigs. They just apply it themselves and can’t see the smearing as they are too afraid to look into the human mirror.

In just a couple of days I will celebrate 7 seven years of marriage with my wonderful bride. I’m pleased to report we are still happy together and very much in love. Seven years doesn’t seem like that long, but we’ve seen a lot of other married couples come and go in that time, so it stands to reason we’ve got something good going here!

My only regret is that we got married on Memorial Day weekend. Needless to say, inexpensive anniversary plans are…difficult.

Congrats. And Memorial Day weekend is a good excuse for celebrating quietly at home and then doing whatever it is you would have done the following weekend.

I’ve always said, the first seven years are just a small portion of the time spent if your marriage lasts longer than seven years, and gets up to maybe 20 or 30 years before you start throwing daggers at each other.

Someone please take out this trash.

I’m not only white white, I’m freckled with a pile of red heads in the family white and the Brimelow/Chuckie clique are pieces of useless excrement (to differentiate them from shit that’s useful).

If Texas seceded and was left on its own, I wonder how long it would take for Mexico to decide it wanted to take Texas back from the gringos?

Shit, the exact opposite would happen. If Texas seceded and the US government pulled up stakes, we’d immediately see the same dipshits that are screaming about secession begging to re-enter the United States.

All it would take is for their savings and retirement accounts and property values to immediately crater due to a lack of official Texas currency to make all those “patriots” want to go back to the US. If that doesn’t do it, the cartels suddenly treating Texas like unclaimed territory ripe for the taking will.

In other news:

‘Stable’ region of Antarctica is melting

New data reveal that glaciers along the southern Antarctic Peninsula suddenly surged towards the sea five years ago. The findings, published in the 22 May Science1, add to evidence that the ice blanketing West Antarctica is much less stable than previously thought.

A radar instrument aboard the European Space Agency’s Cryosat-2 satellite, launched in 2010, captured the dramatic changes in the topography and elevation of the southern Antarctic peninsula. Researchers confirmed the loss using measurements from NASA’s twin Gravity Recovery and Climate Experiment (GRACE) probes, which capture ice-mass loss, but not ice movement.

[…]

“What is surprising is the timescale over which these changes are occurring,” says Christopher Harig, the geophysicist who led the Princeton study. “For this to occur in just a few years is kind of alarming.”

Wouters’ team estimates that glaciers along the southern edge of the Antarctic Peninsula shed around 56 billion tonnes of ice a year from July 2010 to April 2014. That is a significant share of Antarctica’s annual contribution to global sea-level rise.

The national president of the Boy Scouts of America, Robert Gates, said Thursday that the organization’s longstanding ban on participation by openly gay adults is no longer sustainable, and called for change in order to avert potentially destructive legal battles.

In a speech in Atlanta to the Scouts’ national annual meeting, Gates referred to recent moves by Scout councils in New York City and elsewhere to defy the ban.

“The status quo in our movement’s membership standards cannot be sustained,” he said.

Mid century modern is all the rage. Especially the lamps.

No mid-century modern here. We started acquiring furniture after we got married in ‘77 and pretty much quit in the early 80’s. Mostly traditional styles so it fits with a few random pieces from my parents’ house (as in, older than I am, without being valuable antiques.) The table lamps scream “1985!!!” But they are inoffensive and work fine. I’ve replaced a couple of ceiling lights over the years (“1964!!!!”) and keep meaning to replace the dining room light, but haven’t found anything I liked well enough to replace it with.

Interior decoration is apparently not my thing.

Our house had “Venitian pink” fixtures in the master bath. The previous owners didn’t care for that color scheme so they put in a fuzzy blue shower curtain, gold and blue striped wallpaper and a lovely gold carpet in to break up the pinkness. Gah.

Feds Trying to Determine If Amtrak Engineer Was Using Phone

Investigators are combing through phone records, locomotive data, radio transmissions and surveillance video to determine if the engineer in last week’s deadly Amtrak derailment was using his cellphone while at the controls, federal authorities said Wednesday as union officials offered new details on how the engineer spent the hours before the crash.

Brandon Bostian’s phone records show calls were made, text messages were sent and data was used the day of the crash, the National Transportation Safety Board said, but it remains unclear if the phone was used while the train was in motion.

MrBWS and I will celebrate our 12th anniversary on Sunday.
We’ll make a couple of huge pans of lasagna. One for him and one for me.
