Great job Eagles, and further proof of Vince Lombardi’s theory that offense sells tickets and defense wins games.

Well, so is Crisco…

Maybe they should have used “birthing agent” (pretty much K-Y that comes in powder form to be mixed in bulk, as the MythBusters have done more than a few times for experiments). It’s slick, but non-toxic, water-soluble, and nonflammable.

His numbers make him a first-ballot Hall of Famer without a doubt. In my eyes, though, he will never measure up to the sheer line-of-scrimmage-play-calling that Manning did. Brady wouldn’t have been half the quarterback he was without Belichick. Manning succeeded in spite of his coaching staff, not because of them.

Last time we came across the Saskatchewan/Montana border (returning from the airport from our Germany/Poland trip), US customs went through a bunch of questions about whether we were smuggling guns into the country in a Smart into Montana (!)

The first time we drove to Saskatchewan, the Canadian officials held us up to check our car’s registration, because they had trouble believing the extremely low numbered license plate. When the woman was finished, she asked “Are there really only eighty-seven cars in Nebraska?”

Yeah I mean there is no doubt that Brady has repeatedly come up big in big spots, or that Manning more often than not came up small when it was all on the line. (In fact I’d even say that the two SB’s he DID win were more won in spite of him than because of him.)

But I’ve never seen another QB who dazzled me like Peyton Manning when he was on. Certainly not Brady. Like I said he’s been money his whole career but he has just never wowed me. I can’t put him ahead of Peyton even in spite of the lopsided margin he has when it comes to postseason success.

I was crossing back into Canada once and was sick; coughing and sneezing (much like I’m doing right now). The guy was like “ok, bye bye…leave and take your germs with you”. But in a very Canadian friendly way.

Manning, as opposed to the majority of NFL quarterbacks, was given the autonomy to call audibles on the line, and he was good at it. Freakishly good. Yeah, he botched his fair share of calls, and it undoubtedly cost him some playoff wins he should have had, but he has two rings with two different teams and a claim as one of the greatest gunslingers of his era. I’d say he acquitted himself pretty damn well for all that.

Most of the Canadian border guys are pretty chill. Last time we traveled north my wife had more anxiety about going through the U.S. border checkpoint on the way home than crossing into Canada…and she’s a U.S. Citizen.

After trump was elected I was literally terrified to go into Michigan. I didn’t cross the border for a month. Then, the first time I did, that asshole made that comment about marrying a Canadian. I didn’t cross for another month after that. (I usually cross every weekend to do my grocery shopping.)

re: #82 Frenchy

Yeah I mean there is no doubt that Brady has repeatedly come up big in big spots, or that Manning more often than not came up small when it was all on the line. (In fact I’d even say that the two SB’s he DID win were more won in spite of him than because of him.)

But I’ve never seen another QB who dazzled me like Peyton Manning when he was on. Certainly not Brady. Like I said he’s been money his whole career but he has just never wowed me. I can’t put him ahead of Peyton even in spite of the lopsided margin he has when it comes to postseason success.

Sounds like me watching Favre during his glory days. The gunslinger could have some really good games then throw the worst possible mess the next week.

But it was always worth it when games like that of December 22, 2003 in Oakland.

Yeah i was telling my folks that it’s a fun city. I’d like to visit one of these days.

If you ever do, drop me a PM. Mrs. Fish has a few favorite clubs, and I know a few good bars with some decent craft brew. And the food… Don’t even get me started on the food.

FOX News Channel claiming the DNC is “dead broke” while the GOP is “flush with cash” ahead of the midterms.

foxnews.com

This is probably true, DNC is having problems, but I think that is because people are donating direct to candidates. I know last summer they were actually millions in the red.

The Dems can’t, or won’t, secretly sell off the right to pillage, loot and pollute with impunity. Maybe they could bend just a little and change this policy but limit it to devoted Republican areas. I wonder what the grift franchise or pollution rights for Lubbock or Midland might be worth?

Well, both cities are running out of water, exacerbated by the fact that water used in fracking is not regulated by the State, so I’d say that right now, grifting isn’t even necessary. It’s open season, all the time.

This one is aggressive as hell. You attack it or risk death. That’s a no shit fact. Get thee to your GP and demand aggressive treatment if you have even a single risk factor.

“Chuck’s Nazi friends are going to be furious at him for this. He’s running scared.”

He’s responsible for everything he has said/done/written. I’ve been hoping for some time now that his attention-seeking sh*t would catch up with him. He’s up a creek with a sh*tty paddle, looking for a lifesaver. Paddle away, douchebag.

Maybe he can hide in the Ecuadorian Embassy in London with Julian Assange.
