Today we learned the best way to torture Trump is to praise other people while he’s on public view.

My son & Zedushka started watching a 2007 show on the Roku, “Pandemic” starring Faye Dunaway as the governor of California and a bunch of other people I never heard of. I watched it for a while and it is interesting to compare it to what we are experiencing now, but I want to throw a shoe through the screen at everybody for not social distancing.

14
The Pie Overlord!  Apr 22, 2020 • 5:32:27pm

Faye Dunaway could play Dr. Birx.

A Democratic member of the House or Senate should follow his daily shitshow with summary of what lies he has said. Maybe have their own experts to discuss the mixed messages and the reality of the situation.

Use his own stage show to burn him down.

I want him crushed.

I want McConnell crushed.

I want the GOP decimated at all levels of government. I want them run from office and forever stained with the Trumpist tag for being complicit in Trump’s criminal conduct, the incompetent handling of covid19, and the white nationalist policies he pushed with the knowing wink and nod of McConnell and congressional GOPers.

Fuck the GOP.

And that’s still not enough. I want a 50 state sweep. I want to see and make that happen. I want it to be completely and totally indisputable and undeniable. I want it beyond all doubt that Trump and the GOP got crushed.

Q: What is best in life?

A: To crush Republicans in elections, see them driven before you, and to hear the lamentations of their donors.

Besides Trump’s arrogant stupidity is the implication that SARS-Cov-2 is gone (required if a thing can “come back”).

However, the new cases statistics indicate that the infections in our population have only slowed, and frankly only by a little bit.

And in other countries which decided not to go the total-suppression route (note that China and South Korea went for total suppression, Singapore is trying to do that), new infections statistics indicate that newly infected are still happening even under lockdowns, albeit the lockdowns slow things down quite a bit.

“That’s because some of the nation’s biggest banks, including JPMorgan Chase, Citibank and U.S. Bank, prioritized the applications of their wealthiest clients before turning to other loan seekers

Shaun and his hanger’s on are ignorant of how the government functions. They also attribute to spinelessness and malice on the Democrats’ part what is actually the result of the basic asymmetry between the two parties. Republicans are pretty much willing to burn everything down if they don’t get what they want. Democrats aren’t.

That was a long-ass drive—60 miles or thereabouts. While Watson Rd is pretty close to the western edge of the Phoenix metro, you’d have to drive about 8 miles or more to get to the eastern edge of the metro. /This has been an exercise in demonstrating how big Phoenix is, or “why it feels like you’ve already driven halfway to California by the time you get past Buckeye if you’re driving from east Mesa.”
