I bought a disinfecting light. It’s UV. The one kind of light that really kills about any virus or bacteria. I use it to disinfect things like incoming egg cartons and the contents. Stuff I can’t spray with alcohol or a bleach solution.

Anyway now I wish I kept the papers that came with it in the box. Papers that made it very clear to NEVER EVER AIM THIS LIGHT AT SKIN OR EYES. Sorry about the all caps but that’s the level of warning that came with this humble little light. Powered by 4 little AA batteries.

A side effect of the pandemic is that all those TV shows about houses and real estate have come to a screeching halt.

HGTV still is running a Property Brothers series, but it was shot in Canada and appears to have been shot last summer and fall so it’s been in post production all winter.

But all those million-dollar house shows are kaput. Noticed that the most recent one, Listing Impossible (which I thought took a more reasonable look at these sort of things) sort of stopped cold.

My Lottery Dream Home has wonky “seasons” but it is not putting up new shows the past couple of weeks. And the UK version sort of stopped after two episodes.

House Hunters is still running but the shows have been in the can for a while.

So all this house-porn has dried up quickly.
