They were granted access by Congressional staffers.
No one died. If was even attacked.
And oh wait, were there to record a comedy sketch.
They shoulda had a guide at all times.
This turned into zomg “trespassing” because some of them ended up unaccompanied.

Looks like the weirdly dressed convention down at the harbor is getting a full on mini-concert:

What inspired it is, to me, somewhat obvious.

Someone put their goldfish in the baptismal font to baptize it, or at the very least, to bless it in sacramental holy water for good luck.

It sounds like something a little kid would do, to be honest, and maybe it was. I don’t think a memorandum is necessary (or a papal bull, for that matter).

Since the business of America is business, figures the world’s largest retailer would get the local specialty ice shop to make them some custom flavors for the day:

Things go kind of weird downtown when the weirdly dressed ones show up, but rose hip ganache on ice cream sounds pretty tempting now that the sun is high.

Salma Hayek on a talk show couldn’t remember the name of the event she was telling a story about, so she called it “you know, that place where everyone’s dressed like Halloween but it’s not Halloween”…

I keep thinking about the right wing lunatic who told me in about 2010 that, “The Libs are trying to wipe us out! In 10 or 15 years, Republicans will be hunted like wild animals!”
Naturally, I thought he was nuts. I did not anticipate that the GOP would degenerate into a sadistic, brutal cult, which is what has happened. Maybe the fool was right after all. It is what happens when you behave like a wild animal. They will have to be put down, one way or the other. It gives me no pleasure to say so but it is the truth.

Sounds like projection and “If we don’t do it first, they will.”

The difference is, now there are receipts. Sure, we all KNEW what was going on, but PROVING it (to the degree that a court of law would require) is an entirely different kettle of fish.

This is the GOP.

Christian white nationalist fascists, and dumbasses like Shapiro have been scoping out spots thinking that no one would notice that Shapiro is Jewish. The Christian fascists reveal their true colors, and Shapiro is left… well… fuck Shapiro. This is who he laid down with. He wanted to be part of the Christian white nationalist fascist cult, but they wont let him be part without ending the Jewish part of him.

I have no doubt it will be good and the story of the fall of Numenor and the crafting of the rings is a good choice.

Yet, I’m a bad boy and I’m even more looking forward to the funny and fun of Chris Pine being a thief tricked into releasing the Evil in a Can and having to stop it in the D&D movie.

Well, there it is…

The only reason Bannon is even in this position now is because Trump pardoned Bannon on the last felony conviction when Bannon and his coconspirators scammed MAGA idiots out of millions on a bogus build a wall scam.

Bannon should have been in prison already, but here we are and here he is - this convicted felon is again convicted of felonies. He doesn’t have Trump pardoning him before he does the time either.

Fuck that guy.

An old story I heard on the early Internet:

A young college student gets a summer job in Florida. He worked for the state department of natural resources.

One day, he’s in a boat somewhere in the swamps. He and his supervisor come across an enormous wild pig blocking the channel.

The pig is VERY dead.

The supervisor asks our summer worker to get the pig out of the way, with their pitchfork. After several tries, the student gets the pig moved. Unfortunately, the pig got punctured in the process, spraying the student with the products of its decomposition.

It was a miserable rest of the shift for supervisor and student.

That pig is Bannon.
