Jury Reaches GUILTY Verdicts in Trump Organization Tax Fraud Trial
Totally guilty. Which, actually, was always obvious.

Conspiracy: guilty
Tax fraud: guilty
tax fraud again: guilty
tax fraud yet again: guilty
This is a clean sweep.— Jose Pagliery (@Jose_Pagliery) December 6, 2022
Wait, is his Org guilty, or guilty, or is it guilty, or guilty, or even guilty? Not sure how guilty it is but it seems sorta guilty.
This is a significant verdict—the Trump Organization is found guilty of serious felony fraud charges.
This will give even more leverage to New York Attorney General Tish James in her civil suit, which seeks extraordinary remedies that would cripple the company. https://t.co/aSlrJAIq3c— Renato Mariotti (@renato_mariotti) December 6, 2022
I started this day pretty cranky after a bad night’s sleep after working too late yesterday.
The Trump news (this and the latest from Jack Smith in the prior thread) has me feeling much better.
Oh the ketchup stained walls that are being created at this moment.
Finally the end of Trump is starting.
Thanks for keeping us going through the season of our discontent,
I’m def giddy and light headed. A Warnock victory tonight would probably be cause to drop on the floor and do the Wiggle Worm.

Not quite yet, its his business that has been found guilty. But the walls are closing in on Trump himself, which is probably the primary reason he is running for President. If indicted, he will argue that a trial will have to be delayed until after his presidential run is over, and of course if he is elected he will never face consequences for his crimes.
Is it bigly enough, though? Chthulu, bring the old gods back and be evil.

They say that Capone was out of his mind from tertiary syphilis, so this isn’t the first time his name has come up in regards to lawless Donald Trump.
This guilty verdict (of the trump orgs) emboldens the NYAG civil suit and the newly-refreshed Manhattan DA criminal probe into Donald himself, which just brought in Colangelo to lead that investigation. @DeadlineWH

He can argue that but unless the judge is another Aileen Cannon, it won’t get him far.
We could start a betting pool on who will indict Trump first: Fulton County, Manhattan, or D.C.?

Yes. Definitely up there on the Guiltitudiness Scale.

It won’t kill the Trump org, though. Unfortunately the maximum penalty for all this fraud is $1.6 million.

nah, it’s perfect.
For all the laws that we believe Capone broke… the only thing he was ever convicted of was tax fraud.
Even though the fine isn’t a showstopper, these convictions will definitely make it harder for the org to do business, get loans, etc.
On the other hand Trump seems to have a preternatural ability to convince large banks to give him loans, even after defaulting and going into bankruptcy multiple times.
A google news search for the Trump Org convictions has no Fox News links in the first three pages. Maybe talking points need to be written first.

that “preternatural” ability was dependent on Deutschbank and Russia. Neither of which is in a position to help him anymore.
Seems to me if Trump’s business has tax fraud, the IRS would be really interested in his personal taxes.

if im remembering and reading it right, this is the employee/executive perks not paying taxes on all their income case.*
- there should be significant unpaid back payroll taxes to the Org for all those years.
- that comes with some stiff statutory penalties and interest
- IRS trust fund penalties too
it could also change the net income reported all those years, which passes through to spy45 himself and would affect all his income taxes.
that’s federal and state and city taxes
then each of the executives is also looking at changes to their income taxes too. for each year.
oh, and there’s no statute of limitations on federal civil fraud penalties
*the other case is the one where the Org understated values for tax purposes and overstated for insurance and loans
Got relatively lucky with this one…

Nope. Edibles take forever to kick in and require a massive dose. I mostly use a vape.
I’m not participating in any pandemics at the moment.
Just seen on Counter Social:
If Herschel Walker loses today the GOP will blame the Trump Org. verdict. Trump will blame it on them not asking him to do a rally. Herschel Walker will just say Oh well, I didn’t want to be mayor anyway.

When I was approved for medical marijuana in NM, the actual doctor involved said he recommends edibles because the digestive system is tougher than the respiratory system.
I mostly use a vape also.

My guess is it will be “Too Early to Call” at 7 pm. The early vote will be posted, then we’ll have to see how much same-day vote is expected. Just like in 2020, they will be able to compare percentages in certain counties to November to get a sense of where things are heading.

Latest I heard is that Walker will need about 60% of the same day vote to catch Warnock based on early voter profiles.
Ginni Thomas used the independent state legislature theory in her efforts to pressure state lawmakers to overturn the 2020 election results.
