Nice link. Compressor stalls on the F-102. That wouldn’t be good. They used the F-102 with NASA after changing over from NACA — more or less. The Thud was actually the F-105 Republic Thunderchief which was the early Wild Weasel in Vietnam. The F-4 was the Phantom which had one nickname of Rhino. That took over the F-105 as a WW with the AF.
