No, it’s that Livni could not realistically build a coalition, even with the lefty parties and the Arab parties. So, Peres had to correctly gauge the pulse of the nation which, for the most part, turned right. It would probably have been more stable for the nation for Livni to be a gracious loser and be a part of a coalition, but she went FULL ALGORE and cannot accept the fact that she lost. Bibi will have an easier time building a coalition with Labour and the further right and religious parties.
