Did you do much with MIDI on the Atari, or did you do the music stuff on a Mac like most musicians?

Yeah, I had the Hybrid Arts software — in fact I did some programming work for Hybrid Arts. And my company, Codehead Technologies, marketed a MIDI program called MIDIMax, that let people define MIDI macros for setting up their instruments, and could be used as a sort of simple sequencer.

But the Atari MIDI software never reached the same level of sophistication as the Apple stuff.
