I agree. But, the good news of it is that they accept that there is no end run around the 14th Amendment. But to change it strikes me as premature, I agree. We should try other enforcement mechanisms long before something that radical is considered.

I don’t see why we don’t encourage more LEGAL immigration. More people living here—more housing needs.

Mexico doesn’t really want more legal immigration either. They want migrant workers who send their earnings back to Mexico.
