The other night I was in a Barnes and Noble. In the front of the store, a display table was set up, all covered with various books and newspapers featuring Barack Obama. There was a big “BARACK OBAMA” sign displayed. I made a snide remark, sort of out loud, and the woman behind the counter heard me. She started laughing. I looked over and I said, “It’s just TOO MUCH, you know?”

She said, “Yeah, I know what you mean…he’s okay with me, but it’s out-of-hand. Imagine what it’s like to work in a book store!”

I just wonder what some of these retailers (I’m talking about management) are thinking. They don’t apparently care that probably half their customers didn’t support him, and are sick to death of seeing his mug plastered all over the place.

It sounds like the buyers for the book chains were big 0bama supporters, and overbought on that basis. The books sold to other supporters, but the over-purchased remainders are taking up valuable shelf space and not selling.

They’re probably trying to promote them like mad to get them off the shelves. Many of them are so far in the tank for 0bama that they believe that the only people who oppose 0bama are racist.
