I grew up the son of a single mom and we moved at least once a year and sometimes twice. Always having that new kid smell on me made me a bit of a target even though I was bigger than almost everyone. My mom was the one who taught me the quickest way to get through it was to bust the first kid who got smart with me in the mouth. After you lay out the first kid the rest would give me enough space to figure out where to fit in.
