Mexico doesn’t really want more legal immigration either. They want migrant workers who send their earnings back to Mexico.

Right now we’re still in recession. We don’t need immigrants right now. After we get into recovery and the unemployment rate is down 2 percentage points, then we can talk about letting more immigrants in. Until then, no.
