Is there a reason you used “span” tags to set off blocks of content, rather than divs? I’ve always thought span tags were meant for inline content (e.g. highlighting words in a paragraph) as opposed to blocks.
As for the issue at hand, perhaps it has to do with the “display:block” attribute you have on your sidemenu links (i.e. they’re getting attached to all your other links as well). Try adding “display:inline” to the a:hover and a:active aspects of your other links (i.e. those in the “main” class).
OK, I will try that. I don’t have access to my website from here. I thought using the “Span” tag would keep those attributes within the span, but it’s overriding the links in the main class. That’s Teh Suck because I want to make it easy for people to click over to the Zionist Mall!
