I was never one to hate him. He always seemed to me to be just another typical con politician — appeals to the uncurious, overprivileged, overfed, killing-obsessed crowd, which he did quite well. So -he’s always seemed rather unexceptional to me.

I thought he was a shitty governor, at least until Perry came along.

I didn’t care for Dubya’s politics at all. I thought he was incurious and destined to be a one-term POTUS because of Enron. I can honestly say I never hated him personally, though. Dick Cheney, on the the other hand, can fuck off for all I care. He’s an asshole.
