I haven’t seen twitterfall.
with tweetdeck, there is no need to keep a browser window up, and you get a “chirp” when there is something new.
It is it’s own window, like your email sort of.

there is one called “tweetgrid”, but you must have a browser window open, and it includes EVERYBODY tweeting with the tags you have selected.

So I use tweetdeck and a few selected twitterers that have posted accurate info (stopahmadi, persiankiwi, iranelection09, tehranbureau)

Sounds superior. I’ll definitely check it out. Also, you nailed some of the high quality tweeters.

It’s an amazing situation really, watching CNN report their news based on tweets just like the rest of us. Meanwhile, I saw/heard HRC and Gates acknowledging abject ignorance of social networking, other than allowing that it’s somehow a really important part of the process.
