/I rated myself higher than my boss did (avg. 1/2 point all the way).

I’m old and extremely experienced and successful at what I do, so I figured why would I rate myself below “almost” excellent if that is what their reason was in hiring me in the first place! Would never rate myself perfect..no such thing to me as being perfect (being human and all that). ;)

avg 1/2 point? I would say you rated yourself very accurately. I’m talking about people who rate themselves a “5” when they really are a low “3”.
