UPDATE at 12/28/05 12:05:02 pm:
The chief of anti-terrorism for the New Delhi Police recently issued warnings about imminent ISI-sponsored terror attacks in Bangalore.
Deputy Commissioner of Police Ajay Kumar, chief of anti-terrorist cell of the New Delhi Police, had warned that Hydrabad and Banglore are highly sensitive cities and vulnerable to Pakistan’s Inter Services Intelligence-sponsored terrorist acts.
In August he had interrogated a terror suspect who gave him a clear picture of the ISI’s plan in India in the coming months.
Ibrahim, who was arrested in Hydrabad had been brought to New Delhi on police remand. During his intense and lengthy investigation Ibrahim, an Indian national living in Hydrabad accepted that he had been to Pakistan. He also claimed that he had been to Pakistan to get training. The ISI has given him training in Balochistan and Bangladesh.
After the training he was handed a list of eight targets. In New Delhi and metropolitan cities, Ibrahim and others were asked to attack market places, railway stations and bus stops. While in Hydrabad he was told to target senior police officers. Ibrahim was asked to attack the Software Park in Banglore.
