We Got Mail!
My post about the GOP’s disastrous decision to defend the “We want Obama to fail” meme brought some hate mail (which I expected) and some support too. First, the drooling haters:
aw, you poor baby. Do those mean national parties not agree with everything in your pretty, little head. well, you just roll around on the floor and have your hissy fit.
And to think i thought you were just a racist pig. it’s obvious - you have a massive crush on Governor Jindal. Can we expect to see you outside the Governor’s Mansion with Peter Gabriel playing on a boom box??? LMAO Grow up.

Why don’t you explain to your loyal sheep exactly how it is that the “vast middle” wants Obama to succeed? Um, succeed at radically altering the character of American society so that we more closely resemble, say, Sweden? Is that really want the “vast middle” wants and, therefore, is pulling for Obama.
C’mon Chuck! Even you’re bright enough to know that is bullshit. Aren’t you?

Thank you for staying the course on non-blinkered, non-Kool-Aid-drinking conservatism. I’m of the same mind as you on numerous issues, particularly creationism. My wife and I belong to an organization called Republicans for Environmental Responsibility, and continually ask ourselves why there has to BE such an organization. It’s hard to be politically nuanced these days!

Just wanted to say thanks for being a responsible and refreshing voice in the right-wing blogosphere. I’m a left-leaning independent and try to find voices that speak intelligently and rationally about our government and the issues around our country and world. The far left and far right blogs are reactionary, slavering and occasionally incoherent. You’ve done a great job finding rationality in an irrational time. Thanks for the great work.
