Sad news: Leslie Nielsen died today in Fort Lauderdale at the age of 84.
Mention Leslie Nielsen and most people think of Airplane and Naked Gun, but for me his most memorable role will always be Commander John J. Adams in one of the greatest science fiction films of the 50s, Forbidden Planet.
