My hate mail has been really boring lately; it’s been a while since I received a deranged, misspelled rant about burning in hell because I believe my granddaddy was a monkey.

But this morning, someone in New York fired up AOL at about 6:49 am PDT and fired off this wonderfully incoherent email using our contact form, full of the homophobia, projection, and sheer blind hatred for which the right wing base has become known. In keeping with the usual hate mailer’s code of using an innocuous-sounding subject to get me to read their tirades, he titled the email, “Thank you.”
